The CD-2095 is an innovative CD (Circular Dichroism) detector, using the same technology found in our steady state
J series CD spectropolarimeters, but optimized to meet HPLC requirements. The CD-2095 can simultaneously determine both CD and UV absorption of separated peaks and give a measurement of optical purity as well as a ratio of CD and UV to provide a calculated g factor. Circular dichroism is an excellent tool for measuring small molecules which have a chiral center and a chromophore.

OR-2090 Chiral Detector
Measures optical rotation for the detection of optically active compounds such as amino acids, sugars and terpenes.


JASCO Model OR-2090 Chiral Detector has been designed for the detection of optically active compounds generally without a chromophore such as amino acids, sugars, terpenes, and other compounds containing an asymmetric carbon.
