Chiral separation has become one of the most important application
areas in HPLC. The increasing demand for chiral chromatography in
various fields, such as drug analysis, drug discovery, biochemical
analysis, natural product analysis, organic synthesis, etc. have
resulted in a parallel demand for better chiral separation and
detection technology. Recent advances in chiral column technology are
boosting the use of chiral chromatography in more and more
laboratories; however, advances in chiral detection technology have
only recently met the demands required in terms of sensitivity and
selectivity.
Recently, particularly in the pharmaceutical industry, such optical
isomers have to be separated, detected and fractionated in order to
investigate the biological activity of each. An HPLC system including a
chiral separation column and a chiral detector is essential for such
research work.

CD-2095 Circular Dichroism Chiral Detector
The world's first Circular Dichroism based detector for chiral chromatography
The CD-2095 has been developed as an innovative CD (Circular Dichroism)
detector, using the same technology applied in conventional CD
spectropolarimeters, but optimized to meet HPLC requirements. It can simultaneously determine both CD and UV
absorption of the sample in the same cell for direct determination of
optical purity.

OR-2090 Chiral Detector
The OR-2090 is specifically designed for the detection of optically active compounds such as amino acids, sugars and terpenes.
JASCO Model OR-2090 Chiral Detector has been designed for the
detection of optically active compounds such as amino acids, sugars,
terpenes, and other compounds containing an asymmetric carbon. In industry, these compounds are widely used as original materials for
pharmaceuticals, biochemicals, agricochemicals, cosmetics, foods, and
beverages. It is well known that optical isomers of these compounds often exhibit
totally different biological activity. One offers a favorable effect to
human body while the other can offer a dangerous or unknown effect.

CL-2027 Chemiluminescence Detector
Detection of optically active compounds
The Model CL-2027 chemiluminescence detector is equipped with JASCO's
uniquely designed coiled PTFE tube flow cell placed immediately next to
a highly sensitive end-on PMT. The flow cell, combined with digital
filtering allows the CL-2027 to boast the highest S/N ratio in its
class. The CL-2027 satisfies the need for optimum chemiluminescence
detection limits as demand increases for detection of trace amounts of
lipids, nucleotides, nitrogen oxides (NOx), and catecholamines.

RI-2031 Refractive Index Detector

Differential Refractometer which combines a high-quality optical system
with advanced electronics and microcomputer control/programming
capabilities. The RI-2031 is the latest addition to the new
