JASCO is seeking candidates for the position of Sales Engineer for the following regions: Mid-West, East Coast and South East. This is a full-time position managing all aspects of the direct sales, in a specific geographic territory, of JASCO’s full line of Spectroscopy and Chromatography products. A strong technical sales background in vibrational spectroscopy (FTIR and Raman) is preferred.
Key responsibilities include and are not limited to: 1) Direct technical sales of our spectroscopy and chromatography instrumentation including complete account management. 1) Working closely with JASCO Sales Management and Marketing teams to develop new business. 2) Performing product presentations and demonstrations (when required). 3) Attend tradeshows as required.
Job qualifications include: 1) minimum of a BS degree preferred, with a strong background in the sales of vibrational spectroscopic instrumentation. 2) 5+ years of direct sales experience in the scientific instrument field. 3) Experience with a CRM software package, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Salary is commensurate with skills and experience. Extensive domestic travel required in a specific territory.
