1976 : Introduction of the TRI ROTAR Pump

The TRI ROTAR high pressure liquid chromatograph was released in 1976. It was an extraordinary achievement in the history of JASCO and in the field of separation science. It included the advantage of both syringe and reciprocation pumps | the integration of both suction and discharge functions produced a pulseless flow with the use of a rotary-cam tri-head constant-flow pump. This was the world's first single-pump low-pressure mixing gradient system capable of providing gradient elution over a wide dynamic range without adding an additional pump.
