EXTREME HPLC SYSTEM (X-LC™) OFFERS HIGHER PRESSURE
THAN PREVIOUSLY AVAILABLE
The future of chromatography is here now. JASCO is pleased to introduce the X-LC™ series of extreme high pressure liquid chromatography instrumentation. This system is capable of delivering solvents at pressures up to 15,000 psi. These pressures coupled with the X-LC™ line of columns allow the user to achieve chromatographic speed, sensitivity and efficiency far beyond traditional HPLC. The X-LC™ is still able to run all the traditional HPLC methods with the added benefits of the new high pressure system.
The small footprint of the X-LC™ system allows two systems to fit in the space previously occupied by one traditional HPLC system. Each of the components of the X-LC™ system can be programmed individually or can be software controlled. There are several possible configurations for the X-LC™ system with a variety of detectors and autosamplers. The modular nature of the X-LC™ systems allows each system to be customized to fit the budget and space requirements of even the most demanding customer.
X-LC™ columns can be purchased in sizes ranging from 1.0 x 10 mm to 4.6 x 100 mm and with particle sizes of 1.5, 3.0 and 5.0 microns. The chromatographic speed obtainable with the 1.0 x 10 mm column can exceed that of most traditional HPLC detectors. The X series UV-Vis detector coupled with EZChrom Software has the ability to collect 100 data points per second, making X-LC™ the fastest high pressure system on the market. Other detector options include diode array, fluorescence, circular dichroism, optical rotary dispersion, chemical luminescence, and refractive index. The X series autosampler has the ability to sample from 384 well plates, 96 well plates and standard vials with a cycle time of less than thirty seconds.
