RECENT ADVANCES IN INFRARED IMAGING WITH THE JASCO
IMV-4000 IMAGING SYSTEM
The new IMV 4000 series is JASCO’s latest Infrared imaging system, offering unsurpassed optical performance through the latest electronics, optics, and detector technologies. These factors coupled with the fact that the system can be interfaced with our entry level spectrometer make it the fastest, most cost-effective FT-IR imaging system on the market.
The system features variable spatial resolution determined by the cassegrain choice along with variable spectral resolution from 16 to 1 cm-1 or better. Systems can be configured for mid-IR or NIR and include a single-element MCT detector for ‘standard’ micro-FT-IR measurements (7800-750 cm-1) or an InSb detector (10,000 – 1900 cm-1) and. Unlike most companies, the IMV imaging system can be interfaced with any current JASCO FT-IR 4000 and 6000 instruments, not just the high end models. It does not require step-scan instrumentation. The IMV 4000 comes standard with a 16x cassegrain, but can be configured with a 10x and 32x cassegrain option. The visual software interface rounds out the system making it simple and easy to use.
