The J-815 is the latest introduction to the long line of Circular Dichroism instrumentation from JASCO. Unparalleled optical performance and optionally available measurement modes are combined in a manner to make the J-815 true "chiro-optical spectroscopy workbench".

Control by Spectra Manager™ II or Spectra Manager™ CFR

Spectra Manager offers the most flexible and easy-to-use control interface ever applied to a research spectrometer. Complete data acquisition and analysis are performed in the same common software program employed by our range of instrumentation. Power functions related specifically to CD Spectroscopy are integrated seamlessly into the package. Macro mode allows complicated experiments with control of measurement mode, temperature and accessories to be quickly stored and executed in a totally automated mode. Extended macros allow data to be processed and printed in custom report formats. A second version of the software Spectra Manager CFR is available for FDA regulated industries that require data integrity and electronic signature features in order comply with FDA 21CFR11 mandates.

Want to squeeze as much information as possible from your precious sample? Why not outfit your CD instrument to do several jobs for you! The J-815 configured with the PFD-452S Peltier cell holder, FMO-427 EM Monochromator, Titrator and Macro software will enable acquisition of CD data simultaneous with Fluorescence data during thermal melts and chemical denaturation studies.

Macro software can be set up to use different wavelengths for CD absorbance (for example 208 and 222 nm) and Fluorescence excitation (example 280 nm) and also acquire spectral scans of both CD and Fluorescence at pre-set temperature intervals. A single automated experiment could produce enough data to keep you busy with productive analysis instead of spending your time isolating more samples.
